Love Valley is famous for its tall, slender fairy chimneys, whose unmistakably suggestive shapes give the valley its cheeky name and make it one of Cappadocia's most photographed spots. We picked it because beyond the obvious giggle it's a genuinely beautiful walk, a quiet trail winding between towering rock pillars that glow warm at golden hour. It's a favourite vantage point for the morning balloons drifting overhead, and the viewpoint above the valley is an easy stop by car if you don't fancy the walk. Go at sunrise or sunset for the best light, and bring water and decent shoes if you plan to hike down among the chimneys.
