Devrent Valley, nicknamed Imagination Valley, is a small field of wind-sculpted rock with no churches, no settlements and no entry fee, just a dense cluster of fairy chimneys shaped like animals and figures. We picked it as a quick, fun, free stop where the game is to spot the famous camel rock, plus dolphins, seals and whatever else your imagination finds. It's honestly more of a 20-minute curiosity than a half-day sight, so don't go expecting Göreme, go for the playful detour. It sits on the road between Zelve and Avanos, making it an easy add-on rather than a destination in itself.
